Child Care Subsidy

Description: Smart Start Funds provide parents who work or attend school or training assistance in paying for high-quality child care for their children, infants through age 5.  By mandate, Smart Start of New Hanover County gives at least 30% of our annual total state funding to DSS for use in their child care subsidy program.
