Description: Specialists provide training and technical assistance to child care facilities to support inclusion of children, from infants through 5 year olds with special needs in daily classroom activities. Intervention consultation and training is provided to childcare providers and families of children experiencing difficulty in the child care setting.

Child care providers are offered trainings and workshops on topics related to the areas such as early identification of developmental delays, positive behavior management, and collaborating with families.
Parents of children served through Smart Start Intervention/Inclusion Services are offered one on one consultation workshops and other supports.
