Marketing and Outreach Specialist (posted August 27, 2010)

Smart Start of New Hanover County is accepting applications for a Marketing and Outreach Specialist to serve families and children by assisting in the creation and provision of broad-based community education related to Smart Start services and early childhood issues.  This includes, but is not limited to, the provision of direct service to the Smart Start target population; the preparation of press releases and media information, website maintenance and social media communication; design, preparation and participation in outreach events and materials; assistance to families in accessing and enrolling children in primary health care and health insurance; and assisting families in identifying and accessing quality child care.  Spanish skills required.  Excellent written and oral skills required.  Please send a cover letter in English and Spanish along with a resume to Smart Start of New Hanover County, 3001-B Wrightsville Ave., Wilmington, NC 28403. Attn: Personnel.
