Volunteers – We need your help! Smart Start of NHC is assembling kindergarten registration packets.
Each year, we distribute packets of information to about 1600 families who have a child entering kindergarten in the fall in order to make this transition more smooth for families.
Here’s how you can help :
Assembly is Mon, Feb 6 – Fri, Feb 17, or when packets are complete (weekdays only).
Volunteers may come to Smart Start Mon-Fri anytime between 8-5 to help assemble packets.

Tasks may include:
• Sort forms and materials for the envelopes
• Stuff & seal envelopes
• Label & count envelopes
This is a flexible activity. You can come and go as your schedule allows until the job is done. Some volunteers are available for several consecutive hours in a single day and others come multiple days for shorter lengths of time. We’d love to have your help this year.
