Children are often visual learners, and using this to your advantage can be a powerful tool in the classroom. In this
workshop you will learn what visual supports are and the importance of using them in your classroom– for instance,
during transitions or to help with classroom management. We’ll discuss how and when to use a visual schedule, cue cards, job charts, and others to help children learn social/emotional skills, learning routines and other important skills to be successful. You will also have opportunities to collaborate with other teachers. This workshop is suitable for any level of experience using visual supports in the classroom.
