Special Needs

Special Needs education: Early educators may search for resources and strategies for working with children who have special needs, such as developmental delays, learning disabilities, or behavioral challenges.

If you’re concerned about the development of a child or their behavior, the Behavior & Inclusion Support consultants can provide observations of the child, with parental consent, to help determine if referrals to outside agencies should be made. If you need supports in your classroom to help a child with a special need, a BIS consultant will provide coaching and guidance to create an environment where the child can succeed.
